Dave's IBD Drive

Remember the big geomorph craze that Dyson started a while back? Remember how a man named Dave collected all those geomorphs (including from yours truly) and made an indispensable dungeon generator? Well, Dave of Dave's Mapper fame needs our help. A year ago, Dave was hospitalized with a bad case of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). As a result of this, he ended up losing his colon, with all the bad stuff that entails. This weekend, he is having a fundraiser to help others like him who are affected by IBD. For every $5 contributed to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), various members of the mapping community will create more tiles to the Mapper and the RPG community. See Dave's site for details!

As one of those folks with both an illeoostomy and Crohn's Disease, I truly feel his pain.

Also, be nice to him, he is in for some very nasty times till his brain maps the ostomy to his body map.

Hope he does well and get better soon, which I suspect he will. It does have some good sides. One of which is that he will probably feel a bit better.

Thanks for the post, and thanks Craig for the comment. It's certainly been a tough year, but I'm happy to be on the mend and hopefully stir up some donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America while adding to the mapper.

Always glad to help out. @Dave, you've been a true boon to the community and I'm just trying to give something back.
