The Black Helicopters Arrive

Yes, that's a Black Helicopter hovering over my house. I'm not sure what we did to deserve this at way-too-early on Sunday morning, but it did add a bit of excitement into our day. We heard this ungodly and completely unfamiliar noise coming from the back and when I looked out, I saw trees swaying and debris flying in every direction. Then I looked up. I half-expected to see repelling MIBs but after a few minutes, the menace eventually flew elsewhere.

Not something you see every day. I suspect it was inspecting power lines, but I can't really be sure.

In other news, I'm facing a HUGE deadline here at work. Posting will continue to be light until about mid-December, though I will post if I get a few spare moments.

My current place gets buzzed by hot-air balloons all the time. Far away they look charming and peaceful, when they are skimming the trees in your yard and trying not to crash they are loud.

What does that say on the bottom there? "something patrol"?

googling the registration number just under the rotor reveals this page:http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/N741SF.html

the aircraft is owned by Aerial Resources Llc.

googling that revealsthat Aerial Resources Llc is a helicopter rental company.

You haven't been pissing off Hasbro have you? I hear that some of their sales and marketing guys have played both Axis and Allies, and D20 modern, so they know all about military operations....

Well, I'm not at liberty to say more here, but maybe it has something to do with your work! Work does not like blogs. Social Media is the enemy of Ministry of Information! Role playing games are a conduit for encrypted communications and mind control. Who do you game with? What does that game really mean? What's with all the pseudonyms/handles/"PC" names?

You've been warned. This has been a message from The Computer.

@pavo6503: you're googlefu is strong. That's pretty interesting. Wonder if they were spying on no or my immediate neighbor... which (for reasons I'd rather big go into) is both logical and disturbing.
