GenCon 2011 just wrapped up and Kirin Robinson Won the Best Free Product ENnie for
Old School Hack. I wish I was there to buy him a drink. That game has brought me so much joy over the last year. Alas, I'm in the land of crazy family and poor Internet access. And why is vacation so much work? Anyway, at the very least I was able to start
Dance of Dragons and see
Captain America (both on my geek wish list all summer). Doing the blog thing is going to be very tough until next weekend, but I'm sure the OSR will do just fine without me. See you when I get back.

Dude. DUDE. I wish you'd been there too! I fully think the glory needs to be shared with way cool folks like you that have been into the game from the get-go.
Yeah, I am incredibly excited that OSH raked in those awards. It's well-deserved, and with a very visually pleasing game to boot.
Have fun with ADWD! I'm about 2/3 of the way through, and it's been very good, with some surprising turns. And familiar characters.
@Kirin: any chance that you'll be at DC Gameday this fall?
@Carpe Guitarren: loving ADWD so far. First page turner I've had in a while. And of course, I see the characters differently now that the HBO show has aired.
