Fallout: Old School Hacked

Over at the OSH forums, machineiv (David A. Hill) posted an amazingly spiffy hack of Old School Hack called Retrocalypse. While my mouth has a hard time wrapping itself around that title, the game itself is the best post-fantasy adaptation of the OSH engine that I have yet seen. Rather than simply inventing new classes and calling it done, David Hill did a thorough overhaul of the games terminology to capture the retro-future feel of Fallout, one of my favorite CRPGs and one of my favorite examples of the post-apocalyptic genre in general. If I were going to run a Fallout game, I'd use these rules. If I were going to adapt OSH to other post-apocalyptic settings (e.g. Gamma World), I'd certainly use this as a starting point. Mr. Hill gets an Awesome Point for this one!

Ai! Ya beat me to it! It's quite awesome, although the layout needs a touch of cleanup it handles the feel quite well.
