DC Gameday IX

For all you folks who can make it to Washington DC in early October, DC Gameday IX is coming!  Here's the scoop from the redesigned website:
The ninth semi-annual National Capital Area Gameday will be on the 8th and 9th of October, 2011. The event will be held at the AFT building, at the corner of New Jersey Ave and F St NW (555 New Jersey Ave, N.W., Washington DC, 20001), two blocks from the Union Station stop on Metro’s Red Line.
There will be two sessions each day. The first session will begin promptly at 10am and end at 2pm. The second session will begin at 3:30 pm and end at 7:30 pm. Following the last session on Saturday, there will be a group dinner as usual, although the location has not been finalized. RSVP by September 16th if you plan on attending the dinner.
Join fellow adventure, storytelling, and role-playing gamers here in the nation’s capital for a fun-filled day of games. The event is free to all participants thanks to the generous support of the gameday organizers.
Game masters will be able to start posting games on the 2nd of September. Event registration will commence at 7pm on the 9th of September on [the DC Gameday website].
I was quite bummed that I missed out on all the action last spring, but I have every intention of making this one. I hope to run something as well, but the next few days will determine exactly what. Risus, Old School Hack, and Microscope are high on the list but a lot depends on what other people are going to run.

This looks way cool! I live in Takoma Park and this looks like a great opportunity to meet some new gamers. I'd love to play in something you run; please keep us up to date on what you might run!

I think I might try to run a Dungeon Crawl Classics one shot, or maybe Trail of Cthulhu.
