Tale: Thomas King had been prospecting in the mountains surrounding Silverlode for years when he accidentally fell into an abandoned mine. When he came to his senses, he discovered a mysterious mining pick. Laying hands on the old implement, he suddenly gained the powers of the Undermountain King. Compelled to restore his Undermountain fairy realm, he returned to world as "Tommy Knocker", a supervillain with the power dig into bank vaults, create elaborate glamours, and find treasure by listening to people's thoughts.

Cool concept--it reminds, though, that I still haven't checked out ICONS which I oughta have done by now...
I own many Supers games and games that can be used to run Supers. While I think that M&M is the most complete, I *really* appreciate the elegance of ICONS. It's the lightest system this side of Risus and the one that I'd probably most want to run. It just edges out Truth & Justice according to my current tastes.

Have you ever played Classic Marvel? It really had some trapping of our modern lite games, I wonder how ICONS compares.
@Matt: ICONS resembles Classic Marvel in some ways (same attributes and scale) but borrows from FATE for resolution mechanics.
