Joining the Order of the d30

After almost 30 years as a player of D&D and other RPGs, I have finally joined the ranks of the ultra-geeky. I finally own a 30-sided die (GameScience, of of course). To celebrate my entrance into this elite circle, I am working on a d30 version of DungeonWords. I'll post it as soon as I complete a new microdungeon to go with it.

Only one?

Excelsior!

DaveL: Tut, tut--how could you ask such a question? Pick up a d30 so you can join the Order and implement the "d30 rule" in your games. I'll shortly be posting a PDF of d30-specific tables culled from other Order members, so there's another use for your d30 right there.

Yay indeed!

@DaveL: No, the question isn't whether you need a d30. It's the geeky excessiveness of it that appeals. :)
And if you choose not to indulge, I'll keep making d20 versions of DungeonWords.

@Guy: There will be more coming, eventually. Gotta break in the first die first.

Maybe i should wait for the D40 to arrive?

I am ashamed of the fact that while I own a d30, I have never used it. :(

@christian: I've never had cause to until recently. I hope to make some more d30 tables to give you reason to use it. :)

This is relevant to my interests.

@1d30: Cool. If you end up using DungeonWords or doing something similar, I'd love to hear about it. :)
