The thought of heavily-armoured knights floating gracefully around each other in duels brings tears of joy to my eyes.

A fun little exercise and one that I'll probably repeat in the future. And yes, I'd play/run this one as well. I love the Napoleonic era and the idea of a secret/magical Europe tucked into the remote corners is very appealing to me. Sort of like all those fictional Germanic/Alpine countries that op up in stories every now and then.
Did you choose your three books randomly (as the title of the experiment suggests) or were they deliberate choices?
@mondbuchstaben: It was, in fact, random. I did an InspirationPad script a while back that gave me random books that I could use when I wanted some random bit of inspiration. Alas, I haven't updated it in a few months.
I'd play that game.
