Ebon Knight #1 (p. 1)

This is the start of the first "issue" of my Golden Age Mythic GME Supers project. The play transcript will be presented in the form of a comic book script (as detailed in this introductory post). Mythic and RPG notes are presented afterward.

PANEL 1
In a dark warehouse amongst stacks of crates, two shady characters in coats and fedoras are struggling to carry a large chest down an aisle.

CAPTION: Blue Horizons Warehouse 11

THUG 1: Hey Mugsy, you really think this is goin' to even the score for Mr. Ferrazzo?

PANEL 2

Light pours out the warehouse door, back-lighting the two thugs as they carry the chest into the snowy alley.

MUGSY: That's what the boss says. Good thing we have this blizzard to cover our tracks.

PANEL 3
The thugs make their way through snow drifts towards a truck. A bestial shadow looms over them.

MUGSY: Nobody but us would be fool enough to be out this evening.

PANEL 4
An eight-foot tall humanoid wolf creature leaps down towards the thugs as their drop their package in alarm.

WOLF CREATURE: GRRRRAARGH 

THUG 1: What the...
MUGSY: OH MY GOD!

CHAOS FACTOR 5 (Pressure Valve technique... lower after combat, raise if no combat)
THEME: Adventure (Minimum Chaos factor 5, random events on all doubles)
CHARACTER LIST: For the first scene, use Harold Farmsworth (Ebon Knight's only listed contact) on a 1 and any other character know to inhabit the setting on 2.

EXPECTED SCENE: Rolled "Carry Intrigues" on the Mythic Event Meaning chart. I interpret this as somebody is stealing something from Blue Horizons.

CQ: Who is it? "Assist Dispute". Mobsters are snatching something to help their boss in a mafia turf war.

PANEL 1
Q: Is Ebon Knight observing the thugs [50/50]? no.
Q: Is there dialog [50/50]? Extreme yes.
CQ: What topic? "Attain stalemate"
CQ: Name of monster [Random Name List]? Ferrazzo

PANEL 2
Q: Is somebody watching [50/50]? No... barely (which means that somebody is close)
Q: Emerging into a snowy night [50/50]? Extreme yes
CQ: Conversation response? "Release outside"

PANEL 3
Q: Is Ebon Knight waiting for them in the alley [50/50]? Extreme no.
RANDOM EVENT: NPC Action (Sylvia Franco). "Kill Ambush". She's not the star of this issue, so her involvement is ambiguous. But she's definitely going to slaughter these poor thugs.
Q: Is she working for a rival gang leader [Unlikely]? Extreme yes (though she may have other motives).
