The folks at Ambitious Software have kindly provided me with the iTunes code to download a free copy of Dungeon Mapp for the iPad. It looks pretty cool but since I don't actually own an iPad (yet), I decided to giveaway the code to one lucky reader of this blog. If you're interested, drop a comment on this post and I'll randomly select a winner tomorrow night. Deadline for replying is 9:00pm, Monday August 23.
Well, my wife does, but she's loaned it to me on occasion. Dungeon Mapp looks like just the thing to speed up battlemat drawing for my weekly Call of Cthulhu game -- the Keeper's supply of walls and furnishing is sadly lacking.
Heck, if I ever get my Risus "infinite islands" campaign going, this would be awesome. I might have to buy it anyway.
I have Maci-map maker and World Builder both apps have promised to make upgrades and add ons neither one has done so yet! The same case several other apps promises promises right? There are other apps like PoPPlet with which I would really like to get a collaborative group going and do some online gaming with art and pics. I am interested to see this new app. especially the everything else about it, import/export features, how the "brush" works, will it randomize ??????? .....Jeff
Biggest problem with these specialty fun apps for text/map/paper gamers is that they need to get in bed with another powerful app such as Art Studio; Writers studio, or even Keynote....Love my I PAD generally apps work well on the Pad they just dont play well with each other, I hope some one comes up with an app for these apps.. I have a whole bushel of apps but I could get away with a pint if they would work together more intuitively
Actually, Theron, I'll need an email address before I can send you the codes. Please email me at "risusmonkey AT gmail DOT come" and send you the goods.
I will SPEEK with this one called THERON!!!!!......LOL congrats I am going to buy that ap right now! I would like to begin collaborating with other PAD owners who LOVE this kind of gaming.... Thanks RISUS MONKEY dude(apologies no name) for the SparK.....Jeff

Gah!! If I only had a darn iPad! Been trying to convince the wife that I need one for my next deployment, but alas, she thinks not.
I'm game.
I have an iPad!

Impressive. I would be very interested in this, even if I didn't get the free copy.
Definitely looks interesting and worth a try...especially if I win a free copy. :)
And the winner is... Theron! Look for an email shortly.
