The scene occurs as expected.
RANDOM DUNGEON GENERATOR: OSRIC Starting Area 5 (oriented North). Note that I'm going to make each significant room explored a scene unto itself. This is a bit of a departure of how I might handle a non-old school game of Mythic.
The party descends a stone spiral staircase into a room of octagonal shape approximately 70 feet across. 10 foot-wide passages exit to the east and west. There are doors to the north and south. Additionally, there is a door just south of the eastern passage.
Q: Is the room inhabited [50/50]? No.  Note that I'm still working out my preferred method of determining encounters. In these early scenes, I'm going back and forth between using Mythic and a Dungeon Generator.
DUNGEON DRESSING: I used various Old School tables to come up with dungeon dressing described in the next paragraph.
There is still, warm air with an odor of manure. A single bent iron bar (perhaps a crowbar) lies on the floor.
Q: Is there any sound [Unlikely]? No.
All is quiet.
Q: Is there light other than filtered sunlight from above? [Very Unlikely] Yes, actually.
Q: Coming from east, west, both? East.
The room is lit by reflected sunlight from above as well as hints of light from down the eastern corridor.

The party decides on a marching order. Liamas goes first, followed by Valdora, Arien, and Tenistan. Dori and Kandara follow behind Tenistan Hal bringing up the rear. Liamas quickly and silently [14 on a roll vs. Adventuring Rogue] examines the lighted corridore. It continues some 60 feet before turning left. There is a lit torch in a sconce on the wall where the passage turns.

Valdora and Arien check the other passage [rolls of 15 and 18 respectively on their stealthiest cliches, which are reduced by about 5 due to not being perfectly suited]. The passage continues straight as far as they can see, with doors on either side of the passage 30 ft and 60 ft down its length (to the south and north respectively).
DUNGEON GENERATOR: Rolled an encounter (3 skeletons) in the adjacent room with treasure. Again, I'm still experimenting with how to delay information until the latest moment.
Dori examines the doors in this chamber and finds that they are made of wood. Listening, she hears indistinct noises coming from beyond the southern door and motions for the others to be doubly-quiet. No noise is detected from the other doors (though the stench of manure appears to be emanating from the eastern door).

The presence of a crowbar indicates that delvers (human or otherwise) may have been down here (perhaps recently). The torch was either recently lit or enchanted (that can be deduced later). The eastern door probably hides a latrine. It is a mystery as to what lies beyond the southern door. Liamas will give it a good listen [rolls 13 on Burglar vs TN10]. Given that he can hear them, they are not being particularly stealthy and certainly don't appear to be aware of the party yet. Upon further listening, he guesses that they are skeletons because he thinks he hears the rattling of bones.

CHARACTERS - Add Skeletons.

UPDATED THREADS
* Find the Elf Homelands
* Solve the mystery of the lost dervishes
* (exploring the ruins is too vague to be a thread)

CHAOS FACTOR 4 (holding steady... the party is in control but there is uncertainty about the skeletons and unexplored corridors).

Next scene: The party will take on the skeletons.
